How do I register with Maxwell-Silver NY?
If you live near or plan to visit the New York Metropolitan area, we suggest that you register with us by visiting the Maxwell-Silver NY boutiques in-person. This way you may enjoy the full selection that each of our stores has to offer. Otherwise, Maxwell-Silver NY makes it easy to register Online.
Registering at a boutique in person
Select the prompt for "Registries" on our home page or from the bottom navigation bar.
Click on "Visit Our Boutiques In-Person".
Complete the couple information form to activate your registry. Within 48 hours of initial registration a registry consultant will contact you to answer questions and instruct you on how to proceed.
Registering Online
Select the prompt for "Registries" on our home page or from the bottom navigation bar.
Click on "Register Online."
Complete the couple information form to activate your registry.
Click on "Create Registry List".
Select gifts from our "Shop" by simply choosing a quantity and clicking "Add to My Registry".
Within 48 hours of initial registration a registry consultant will contact you to assist you in answering any further questions you may have about your registry list.
Gift Delivery Options
Gift-by-Gift
As guests purchase gifts for you the gifts are ordered and sent directly to you, one by one. Because many of the items you register for are customized, please note the varying delivery estimates that accompany each product's description.
Hold at the store for pick-up
If you would like to receive your gifts at your discretion, after your wedding for example, you may choose the "Hold Gifts At the Store" option. This option is also useful if you would like to 'pre-return' gifts to a particular store using the credit to complete the purchase of any of your sets (dinnerware, flatware, etc.). To make this arrangement please notify your Maxwell-Silver registry consultant.
Delivery Problems

Your Friends/Family and Purchasing
We have made the gift giving process as easy and convenient as possible for your friends and family by providing them with two options by which to view your registry.
Web site
By logging onto our Web site, guests can gain access to your registry list and view your registry list by price, category or store. All they need to do is enter one of the two last names.
Phone/Fax
Your guests may call us at 212.799.1711 to order gifts by phone. We are happy to fax or e-mail your registry list to them if they prefer. And to help ensure that your friends and family are satisfied with their gift selection we are quite happy to explain your gift choices and preferences in detail.
The minute a purchase is made through any of these methods your registry list will be automatically updated. This instant update of all purchases ensures that there is no chance of receiving duplicate gifts.
Product Information
Maxwell-Silver NY has direct relationships with many of the world's top manufacturers Because we enjoy direct relationships with manufacturers we are able to order any item from their product lines. If there is something in particular from any of our manufacturers that you do not see on the Web site or in our boutiques that you desire, please let us know and we will do our best to locate it for you.
Antique/One-of-a-kind Items
Many of our boutiques carry antiques or one-of-a-kind gifts. If you would like to add one of these items to your registry, feel free to discuss the boutique item-reservation policy with the store manager or call us to help make an arrangement.
Things to Think About
We encourage you to choose items from as many boutiques as you like and to select items in all different price ranges. Make sure your registry list is broad enough so that your guests will not have to choose a gift that is not on your list. Your registry can continue to change with your plans as you'll have the freedom to manage and edit your list Online using your password protected registry account.
Online Registry Process
After registering and choosing a password (one for your personal use and another for your guests, if you choose) you may begin creating your registry list. Choose items from each boutique or by category simply by choosing a quantity and clicking "Add to Registry".
Upon completion you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration. Your personal registry consultant, who will be available to work with you throughout this exciting time, will contact you within 48 hours. Your personal registry consultant can assist you with any questions or requests.

This password is used for your personal use only and is chosen during the registration process. This enables you to log into your account to edit your registry list.
